The vast majority of long run print jobs in the world are printed with Heatset offset : newspaper inserts, catalogues, magazines, brochures, and even telephone directories.
Publication Gravure may have few production sites, but it has tremendous production volumes. There is no specific simulator that includes the folders for a publication gravure press, but the PackSim – Gravure simulator is perfectly suited to train on the gravure process – and this can make new operators better much faster than any other method.
Newspapers are more colorful and better-printed then ever before. Higher page count for full color and growing expectations from advertisers make print quality an ever-increasing priority.
